I realize that everyone is extremely worried about the well being of Daryl Dixon in the fifth episode of the walking dead because of this here

But I just want to say if you look read his imdb page he is listed in all of the episodes for the season which may or may not prove anything but i…

I’m more inclined to think they don’t kill him because A.) his death would be a huge event and more a secret than just spilling it in a preview judging from how secretive that set is. B.) Merle isn’t back and everyone’s hinted around that Merle and Daryl crossing paths again is a huge huge deal and while they could kill off Daryl before Merle gets back, that seems like a waste of a story line. C.) it says he’s injured AND set upon by walkers, not that the walkers injure him and he clearly gets back if there’s a shot of Shane and Rick holding him up in the preview (as long as that doesn’t happen tonight) and D.) they keep talking about how much character developing Daryl does this season and I don’t see one episode of that before getting killed as being a huge amount of developing. So I’m going to bet and hope that we just end up with a really banged up and cranky redneck by the end of all this.

Also, I didn’t notice the pic they used for the preview. It appears they’re still at the farmhouse. I keep getting the impression that when they’re carrying Daryl away, they’re headed towards the vehicles and something is happening at the farmhouse, why else would they be moving an injured man NOT to the nearest building unless there’s some sort of other craziness going on. I mean Carl got shot and they booked it to the house. Daryl seems unconcious and they’re hauling thim through a field and looking behind them. I’ve been putting money something bad happens at that farmhouse, especially with that ambiguous “I expect them to be moving on” statement given about Rick’s group.
